24 Oct A Supernatural Journey

In Acts 2:15-21 we read that before the Lord comes back, there is going to be a great increase in the supernatural…signs, wonders, miracles, dreams, visions, angelic activity, etc…

Personally, I am on a journey to see an increase of supernatural activity in my own life. This is supposed to be normal. Seeing the supernatural in our lives on a regular basis. This is how God made you.

This body that you carry around is just housing your spirit…it doesn’t matter what you look like or talk like…but about what you are doing with what God has entrusted to you…

Here at Antioch, I continually talk about the Father’s love, not living offended, being free on the inside, healed of hurts and a wounded heart, etc. Because that soul (your mind, will and emotions) of ours is trying its best to be in control.

But we are to walk by faith not by sight! Not by what we feel but by the direction of the Spirit of God within each one of us.

And again Jesus said in Luke that the Kingdom of God is within you. What is the Kingdom of God? Righteous, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost!

Jesus Himself prayed…Your kingdom come, Your will be done…on earth…my family, my work, my prayer life, etc…as IT IS IN HEAVEN!

Each one of us are carriers of the glory…carries of His presence, His love, joy, miracles, etc…

We ARE to pray Heaven on earth…! Love, joy, peace, blessings, presence, power, supernatural encounters…these are the norm!

Then that begs the question…why don’t I see more of the supernatural in my own life? It’s one big fat, juicy word that you don’t hear talked about much in Churches today…it’s surrender.

In the Scriptures we continually saw Jesus surrendering to His Father…not MY will but Yours be done. And He said that He always did those things that pleased the Father.

If we don’t surrender, we don’t experience Him to the depths that our hearts desire…we won’t experience all the wonderful things that God has for us to enjoy here BEFORE Heaven.

I am telling you, the realm of the spirit is truly more real than this natural realm.

2 Cor. 4:16-18 says, “Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

You see, the enemy is after any fruit that can possibly come out of your life with God. He knows that he lost your soul to God…so now, he literally works night and day to do whatever he can to make sure that there is no fruit coming out of your life.

Here’s how the enemy thinks:

I will steal their fruit of love…I will keep them angry, frustrated and offended at each other.

I will destroy their fruit of knowing and experiencing the daily blessing of the Father’s love…I will keep them continually misunderstanding God and feeling rejected by Him.

I will destroy their fruit of peace…I will keep them distracted and stressed out.

I will steal their fruit of giving and blessing…I will keep messing with their finances. Making them feel panicky all the time that they will never have enough.

I will destroy their fruit of doing the will of God…I will keep them spinning in circles with sin, sickness and sadness so they will not feel worthy or even able to accomplish ANYTHING that God has called them to do.

I will keep tempting (remember that’s the best he can do) them to sin…so they live defeated and far from Father’s love.

I will steal their joy so that they will never the strength that is found in living life with a joyful and glad heart.

I will steal their time and I will keep them busy at work and busy with an overload of ministry and busy with life so they will go to bed frustrated and wake up tired.

I will destroy marriages and families to keep them from fulfilling their destinies together.

I will steal their prayer lives and fill their lives with worry, unbelief and shame.

I will steal their fruit of confidence so they never know who they are in Christ.

He can’t have our fruit! The fruit that you bear now, will be the reward that your receive in Heaven!

Oh but if we keep our hearts on Him…we can fulfill ALL that He has called us to do and live the supernatural lifestyle!

Now, the Bible says “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,” Eph. 2:6 right now!

God has made a way through His Son Jesus to experience and encounter Heavenly realms now.

This is what is called living the ascended life…an ascended heart. Heavenly places

When Jesus was raised He ascended…He modeled this for us…we have been resurrected with Him…we ascend with Him to experience fellowship with Him every single day!

We have access to great things in God…but we have to run after God like a little child…

Our bodies are here on earth, but our hearts have been ascended because of His resurrection.

Colossians 3:1 says, “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.”

The Lord is trying to give us an understanding of Heaven. To live and think and move and have our being from His perspective…Heavenly places

Let’s talk about perspective for a moment…

I MUST get Father’s perspective for who I am, what I have gone through, what I am going through and what His plan is for me. My perspective is flawed. I need to see what He sees in me and the world around me. What is He thinking about towards me…

Abba’s love is what secures our hearts daily and connects us with the supernatural realms of God.

Our destiny is Heaven, not this world. And He has provided for us these glimpses and encounters to motivate our heart to seek Him further, deeper and the more that we do this the greater we know Him and the activity of Heaven.

The Lord is working on our human hearts and finite understanding to make us addicted to His world…and not ours…

Ps. 16:11 You will show me the path of life! There is a path to His presence of joy and pleasure

We MUST quit getting distracted with life because this distracts us from love, joy, peace, etc.

We live in this world, we do the daily things that we need to do, but our hearts can live ascended.

How do I lift my heart? Praise and worship key as it lifts you out of mundane living

And pray in the Holy Spirit, every day!

Remember this promise, “But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.” I Corinthians 2:10-12
